MobilePage.IdSeparator Property

Definition

Gets the character that is used to separate control identifiers when building a unique ID for a control on a page. This API is obsolete. For information about how to develop ASP.NET mobile applications, see Mobile Apps & Sites with ASP.NET.

Property Value

The character that is used to separate control identifiers. The default is set by the PageAdapter instance that renders the page. The IdSeparator property is a server-side field and should not be modified.

Remarks

This member overrides Page.IdSeparator to return a colon (:) if the adapter is a WmlPageAdapter or XhtmlPageAdapter. Otherwise, it returns the default character.
