Thumb ControlTemplate Example

The following example shows how to define a ControlTemplate for the Thumb control.

<Style x:Key="SliderThumbStyle"
       TargetType="{x:Type Thumb}">
  <Setter Property="SnapsToDevicePixels"
          Value="true" />
  <Setter Property="OverridesDefaultStyle"
          Value="true" />
  <Setter Property="Height"
          Value="14" />
  <Setter Property="Width"
          Value="14" />
  <Setter Property="Template">
    <Setter.Value>
      <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type Thumb}">
        <Ellipse x:Name="Ellipse"
                 StrokeThickness="1">
          <Ellipse.Stroke>
            <LinearGradientBrush StartPoint="0,0"
                                 EndPoint="0,1">
