Store Operations Modified Receipts
This page includes the modified receipts that are available for Store Operations. Click the Preview link to view a PDF of the modified report, and the Download link to Download it or import it.
You can Preview and Download the following receipts for Store Operations.
To use one of these receipts, complete the following steps:
Exit Store Operations Manager.
Click the Download link and click Open.
Select the .xml file in the .zip file and click Extract.
Browse to the default templates folder found in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Retail Management System\Store Operations\Receipt Templates\. You also can find the location of the receipt files by opening Store Operations Administrator, choosing File > Configuration, clicking the Templates tab, and viewing the path found on the Receipts line.
Click Extract.
Use Store Operations Manager to select the receipt file by choosing Database > Registers > Receipt Formats. Click the properties of the receipt you're using, and then select the file you extracted in steps 3 through 5. (Note: If you don't know what receipt format you're using, choose Database > Registers > Register List, click the properties of the register you're using, click the Receipt Printer 1 tab, and view the Receipt Format field at the bottom of the window.) You'll be asked whether to updated all transaction types to the new format.
Choose Yes if you want all transaction types to use the new receipt or No to use the receipt type only for one transaction type.
Click OK. (Note: All POS stations must be closed and reopened for the changes to take effect.)
Click Close.
Exit POS and re-enter.

Windows drivers will allow the comment to wrap to the next line, while OPOS will truncate the text at the end of the column. | Receipt - Full Page with Larger Details Section This receipt displays a larger details section and fixes three default full page receipt format issues: special transactions (work orders, back orders, layaways, etc.) use too much paper; the details section is the same size on all pages, wasting paper at the top and bottom of subsequent pages; and when recalling a special transaction and picking up partial, all items are printed on the receipt, even if only one item is picked up.
