Business value

Training and maintenance tasks are often too complicated to be represented as linear workflows. Using branching logic makes Dynamics 365 Guides more flexible, increases the number of addressable scenarios, and ensures the solution fits industrial needs.

Feature details

When an author creates a guide, they'll have the option to set up a branching step that moves the operator to a different set of steps based on their input. For example, an author can create a branch that automatically advances an operator from step 2 to step 5 depending on the operator’s answer to a question in step 2.
