Business value

Operations managers need to monitor key metrics for software tools used by their organization. These metrics are critical to get insights on potential operational efficiencies and the usefulness of tools and processes to create and release guides. The new Guide Author Session table tracks when an author opens, navigates, or closes a guide.

Feature details

Each row in the Guide Author Session table corresponds to a HoloLens or PC app interaction with a guide in Authoring mode. Information about the session, such as user ID, guide name, start time, end time, and device class, is recorded.
