Business value

Changing and unaddressed business conditions can impact sales outreach in situations such as these:

  • If an existing record undergoes certain business information updates, that record needs to be recategorized into a different segment. These may need to be handed over to a different strategic sales team and receive a revised sales outreach approach.

  • If a lead or opportunity doesn't get routed successfully to a seller due to unavailability or sales capacity, it sits unassigned and ages until someone addresses it. This will impact the time to sales outreach and time to first customer interaction.

With the capabilities in this feature, sales team managers will be able to automate the identification of such instances and retrigger the revised routing and sequencing correspondingly.

Feature details

With this feature, you'll get the following capabilities:

  • As an administrator, you'll be able to set up a scheduled rerun for records that were previously unassigned due to seller capacity or unavailability. Once scheduled, these will run at the scheduled times, automatically trying to reroute the records to the right sellers.

  • As an administrator, you'll be able to set up certain change triggers to recheck if a segment change is needed. Whenever there's a change to these trigger conditions on a record, the solution will automatically check if it needs to be resegmented. If resegmented, for the new segment associate:

    • The solution will automatically try to find the right seller aligned with the new segment routing conditions (assignment rules).
    • The solution will automatically try to find and initiate the revised sales outreach sequence.
  • The existing seller who's working on a record that gets resegmented will be appropriately informed.
