This article explains how to create a corrective invoice for Spain in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance.
The following procedures walk you through how to create a corrective invoice. The procedures use the demo data company DEMF with a primary address in Spain.
Create a purchase invoice
To create a purchase invoice, follow these steps.
- In Dynamics 365 Finance, go to Project management and accounting > Projects > All projects.
- In the list, select the link in the selected row.
- Select Item task.
- Select Purchase order.
- In the Vendor account field, enter or select a value.
- Select OK.
- In the list, mark the selected row.
- Select Edit.
- In the Item number field, enter or select a value.
- In the Quantity field, enter a number.
- On the Action Pane, select Purchase.
- Select Confirm.
- On the Action Pane, select Invoice.
- Select Invoice.
- Select Default from: Product receipt quantity to open the drop dialog.
- In the Default quantity for lines field, select an option.
- Select OK.
- In the Number field, enter a value.
- Select Save.
- Select Post.
Post a credit note on a purchase
To post a credit note on a purchase, follow these steps.
- In Dynamics 365 Finance, go to Project management and accounting > Projects > All projects.
- In the list, select the link in the selected row.
- Select Item task.
- Select Purchase order.
- In the Vendor account field, enter or select a value.
- Select OK.
- On the Action Pane, select Purchase.
- Select Credit note.
- Expand the Invoices section.
- Select the Select all checkbox.
- Expand the Parameters section.
- Select OK.
- On the Action Pane, select Invoice.
- Select Credit invoicing.
- In the Reason code field, select an option.
- In the Reason for correction field, enter a value.
- In the Correction method field, select an option.
- Select OK.
- Select Financials.
- Select Credit invoicing.
- In the Reason code field, select an option.
- In the Reason for correction field, enter a value.
- In the Correction method field, select an option.
- Select OK.
- Collapse the Line details section.
- Select Save.
- On the Action Pane, select Purchase.
- Select Confirm.
- On the Action Pane, select Invoice.
- Select Invoice.
- Select No.
- In the Number field, enter a value.
- Select Post.
Verify the posted invoice has the correct information
To verify the posted invoice has the correct information, follow these steps.
- In Dynamics 365 Finance, go to Accounts payable > Vendors > All vendors.
- In the list, select the link in the selected row.
- Select Transactions.
- Select the General tab to verify the posted invoice.
