Gain insights for donor engagement

The Fundraising and Engagement Marketing insights solution is an optional component that adds the Dynamics 365 Customer Insights tab to the Fundraising and Engagement application.

Fundraising and Engagement Marketing insights helps you understand how your donors are engaged through your marketing campaigns and fundraising events. Marketing insights provides you with the following benefits:

  • A timeline showing all interactions with a donor.
  • Email analysis, including delivery details, email opening times, and the level of email interaction.
  • Analysis of website activity, such as visits and website interactions.
  • Analysis of event check-ins, registrations, and cancellations.

Open and use Marketing insights

To view related results and analytics, open a Contact record, and then select the Marketing insights tab.

How to get Marketing insights

Fundraising and Engagement Marketing insights is a free optional component if you have a Dynamics 365 Customer Insights license. It can be included in the download when you install or upgrade to the latest version of Fundraising and Engagement.

Note

If you have already upgraded or installed the latest version of Fundraising and Engagement and have the correct license, then go to the Microsoft Cloud Solution Center, and then select Existing deployments to add Marketing insights to your application.
