Business value

Customers in India can now upgrade to the Store Commerce app and Commerce SDK. This feature also greatly simplifies the process to enable localization features in India by leveraging the feature management framework in Commerce headquarters.

Feature details

Previously, Commerce localization features for India had to be enabled using extension configuration files for Commerce components. This method required additional manual configuration steps. With this feature, customers can enable Commerce localization features for India from Commerce headquarters by using the feature management framework and parameters. This feature also enables the adoption of the Store Commerce app by Commerce customers in India.

Capabilities included with this feature:

  • Goods and Services Tax (GST) determination and calculation using the Tax engine.
  • Customer tax registration information management in POS.

You can also use all Commerce localization features for India with the Store Commerce app.
