Business value

Enable CRM administrators to configure entities and visual treatment of existing CRM entities in Viva Sales experiences, so sellers have the correct CRM information and actions to make them more productive directly from Office.

Feature details

CRM customization allows CRM administrators to configure CRM forms, fields, and behavior in Viva Sales experiences such as side pane in Outlook and rich adaptive cards in Teams. This enhancement to CRM customization will allow CRM administrators to configure additional out-of-the-box entities and custom entities using queries defined in the CRM.

With this feature CRM administrators can:

  • Add relevant custom and out-of-the-box entities to Viva Sales forms.
  • Remove entities from Viva Sales forms.
  • Control filtering and sorting behavior of lists using CRM-defined queries.

With this feature, sellers using Viva Sales can:

  • See custom and out-of-the-box entities in Viva Sales Outlook side pane.
  • Share custom entities with colleagues in Teams.
  • Search for custom entities in the Team’s messaging extension.
  • Connect Outlook email and meeting activities to custom or out-of-the-box entities.
