Copilot for Sales uses AI to find and recommend relevant updates to opportunity records, including stage, close date, and estimated revenue, directly from emails or meetings. This functionality gives you and your sales teams guidance to keep CRM data accurate and up to date. By simplifying the opportunity management process, it boosts sales efficiency, improves forecasting accuracy, and increases the chances of closing deals. This feature delivers higher sales effectiveness, revenue growth, and a more streamlined, data-driven sales operation.
Feature details
Suggested updates to the CRM opportunity are based on emails or conversations you have with your customers. The suggested updates help you keep the CRM up to date with information such as the opportunity's estimated close date, estimated revenue or budget, and stage.
Users can take the action immediately within their flow of work, depending on their user settings and the form settings within Copilot for Sales admin settings. If users don't have edit permissions, or if the admin doesn't enable editing within the Copilot for Sales add-in in Outlook, the app redirects users to the CRM record. It deep links to the CRM for quick access.
You see the suggested updates in the Copilot for Sales add-in in Outlook. They're also available via Microsoft Copilot Chat and the Copilot for Sales app in Teams. To see suggested updates, you must enable Copilot for Sales and Copilot for Microsoft 365 in your environment.
