Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 21044 Release Notes
Service Update 21044 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21044.
Important
Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number.
For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

Repaired Functionality
The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.
Accessibility
- The accessibility screen reader did not announce suggestions when performing searches.
- The accessibility screen reader did not announce each stage of the search process, such as "Searching for results," when performing a search within a flyout menu.
- TalkBack was not announcing the status of selected options in the ‘My Active Accounts’ dropdown of the Accounts section, on Android.
- When using a Windows Surface device with the accessibility screen reader activated, not all controls were available with swipe navigation.
- The accessibility screen reader did not announce the Flow level when using the '+Add' button.
Platform Services
- Email messages were skipped during the synchronization process when they were not in alphabetical order or when multiple messages were received at the same time.
- When installing a patch, the database update behavior did not process the assigned flag during the installation process.
- Plugins were not displayed when attempting to associate them with a custom API.*
Sales
- Images uploaded to a quote record were not clearly displayed after generating a Word document with the image included in the template.
Unified Interface
- When opening an account record, the ribbon menu experienced slow loading and did not appear for an extended amount of time.*
- When applying a search filter in the numeric field, keyboard focus was lost from that field.
- Keyboard focus was lost while editing data within an editable grid or sub-grid when a background save occurred.*
- Activities scheduled as an all-day event, were changed to 1.02 days when creating an appointment.
- Running an Advanced Find report with the, “All records on all pages in the current view” filter, did not result in the filtered value being included in the report.
- When using keyboard navigation, focus was lost when editing data within the Editable grid/subgrid.*
- Some content and controls in the Visitor Pane within the Omnichannel Engagement Hub were not visible when viewing the page at 400% zoom.*
- With the FCB.PcfDatasetGrid enabled, grid controls did not load on dashboards.
- Dashboards did not load in the dashboard picker on mobile.*
- When creating a new opportunity record, the OpportunitySalesProcess was present on the switch process dialogue within the record.*
- When attempts to retrieve Timeline Records failed, the menu loaded continuously instead of displaying an error message.*
- When using keyboard shortcuts, the focus did not go to the dashboard controls upon opening the PBI Dashboard.*
Error Messages, Exceptions, and Failures
The following list details issues whose resolutions correct actions that produce errors, unhandled exceptions, or system or component failures.
Outlook
- An error occurred when opening the Dynamics App for Outlook Desktop client for users with the Outlook MSI version.*
Platform Services
- An error occurred when creating an async workflow job when using DataBlobId in async operation record and the FCB.AOBRetrieveAddDataBlobIdColumn was enabled.*
Solutions
- An error occurred when selecting the "Queue Item details" button within a case record.
Unified Interface
- An error occurred when creating or importing web resources within Customizations.
- An error occurred when setting an appointment when a user’s personal time zone setting is different from local server time zone.
- An error occurred when using the Search (Global) function within the Unified Service Desk.
- An error occurred when the FCB.PcfDatasetGrid was enabled an connections were selected from the menu in the related tab.
