Microsoft Dynamics 365 - Service Update 21055 Release Notes


Service Update 21055 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 9.2.0 is now available. This article describes the hotfixes and updates that are included in Service Update 21055.

Important

Note: Service Update naming convention has been revised to clarify the link between the version number and Service Update number. For example, Service Update 150 will now correspond to version number 150xx. Occasionally a Service Update will be canceled and all associated fixes will be rolled into a subsequent Service Update. For this reason, Service Update numbers may not always increase incrementally.

Repaired Functionality

The following list details issues whose resolutions repair items in Dynamics that are not functioning.

Accessibility

  • The Timeline within the Sales Hub was not correctly labeled for the accessibility screen reader or Narrator.
  • Keyboard navigation did not move focus to the new chat dialog accept or reject buttons immediately.
  • When creating a new session within a case record, menu options within the knowledge search side panel contained invalid ARIA attribute values.
  • Multiple buttons within Advanced Settings were announced as 'Settings' by different screen readers, rather than the appropriate button name.
  • The accessibility screen reader did not announce the reducing wait time for an incoming call within the Omnichannel for Customer Service app.

Mixed Reality

  • On mobile, in an environment that did not have enabled maps, the link within the “click here to learn more” message that displayed within ‘Booking Maps’ could not be selected.

Platform Services

  • Recurring appointments could not be deleted if its recurrenceRule were deleted in some uncommon scenarios.
  • Appointments that were deleted within Dynamics did not send cancellation notifications to recipients if the appointment was scheduled in the future and the organizer was configured as a hybrid profile.*
  • Posts for out of the box (OOB) entity forms could not be viewed, created, or automated in the timeline.

Sales

  • In the Sales Hub, when zoom settings were set to 400%, content within a Kanban board was not clearly visible.
  • The exported Excel file generated by Export Accounts for "Excluded Accounts" in Campaign Activity would incorrectly include "Selected Accounts" records.

Unified Interface

  • When rich text styling was enabled, mentions within posts on the timeline wall, could not be selected within a post reply in collapsed mode.
  • When using Dynamics 365 for Marketing, custom apps with ‘AppConfig’ and ‘NavigationSettings’ were skipped when imported.
  • In the Customer Service Hub, after receiving an error for a required form field that was not updated when saving a new case, the NVDA screen reader focus was not applied to the required form field after pressing ‘Enter.’
  • When a form field was set as required in single stage within a business process flow, the same field becomes required in all stages.*
  • When opening a Unified Interface app, a blank page with no content appeared intermittently.
  • When navigating to the offline status page in offline mode, the offline status dialog page was trimmed vertically and only half of the page rendered.
  • In the MailApp, the unknown recipient summary section was not displayed when an unknown recipient was included in the “To” field.*
  • When using non-english langauge settings in a contact entity and selecting a custom button in the ribbon menu, all buttons in the ribbon menu were converted to English language settings.
  • After customizing date format within the Customize Regional Options menu, the date format reverted to the previous settings.*
  • When creating a rich text reply on with two lines of content on the timeline wall while using expand mode, the text content at the bottom of the reply was not visible.
  • When creating a new Power BI dashboard, the authentication window on the Power BI Dashboard Properties page did not load.*
  • On mobile while in offline mode, the list of entities enabled for offline was truncated and only displayed on a portion of the page.*
  • The 'New Support Request' command bar dropdown menu was not visible within request in the Core Marketing Engineering app.*
  • The Field Service mobile app experienced intermittent failures that caused the app to shut down when using forms.*
  • After performing a copy operation within an environment that contained a canvas app entity, the canvasAppId could not be modified.
  • When the “Reset presence” message and button ribbon was displayed, the message was cut off when page zoom was at 400%.
  • When viewing content in portrait mode on mobile devices in offline mode, some content in the offline status page was not visible.
  • When qualifying a lead to an opportunity and navigating away from the form, any previously pinned stages were no longer present.

Solutions

  • An error occurred when linking or unlinking a Knowledge Article to a case entity.

Unified Interface

  • An error occurred when creating a new appointment record within an opportunity entity that contained a business process flow.*
  • An error occurred when using an email template to create an email while the updated email editor feature was enabled.
