Discount period (form)

Click Retail > Setup > Pricing and discounts > Discount periods.

Use this form to define the period of time for which a promotion or discount is valid.

Tasks that use this form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tab	Description
General	View and modify the details about the discount group.
Monday through Sunday	Specify settings for particular days during the discount period.

Button	Description
Groups to distribute to	Set up groups of stores to distribute the discount to.

Field	Description
Discount period number
Description	Type a description of the discount period.
Start date	The date that the discount period starts.
End date	The date that the discount period ends.
Start time	The time that the discount period starts.
End time	The time that the discount period ends.
Time within bounds	Select this check box if the start date and end date are included in the discount period.
Ending time after midnight	Select this check box if the end time of the discount period is after midnight or on the next day.
Monday through Sunday	The check box is cleared for any day whose settings vary from those on the General FastTab.
