Pricing calculation (form)

Click Inventory management > Periodic > Commodity pricing > Pricing calculation.
Use this form to create a new pricing calculation for a specific cost basis type and effective period. If you set up more than one pricing calculation that uses the same cost basis type, the effective periods cannot overlap. After you save a pricing calculation, you can use the Commodity pricing button to add pricing details in the Commodity pricing form.

Commodity pricing |
Open the Commodity pricing form to add the pricing details for a new pricing calculation, or view pricing information for an existing pricing calculation. |
Copy |
Open the Copy pricing calculation form and select a pricing calculation to copy the lines for this calculation to the new calculation. Note This button is available for existing pricing calculations that do not have any commodity pricing lines. If Previous run is assigned to a newly created pricing calculation, then the commodity pricing lines from the previous runs are automatically copied to the new pricing calculation. |

View or select the cost basis type for the pricing calculation. |
Site |
View or select the site for the pricing calculation. |
Run effective date |
View or select the date on which the pricing calculation becomes effective. |
Run expiry date |
View or select the date on which the pricing calculation expires. |
Previous run |
Select the identifier for a previous pricing calculation to copy lines from that pricing calculation to the new one. Both pricing calculations must use the same cost basis type. When you use the Commodity pricing button to open the Commodity pricing form, the lines from the previous pricing calculation automatically appear for the new pricing calculation. You can change the information as applicable. |
