Click Retail > Common > Retail channels > Retail stores. On the Retail stores list page, on the Set up tab, on the Action Pane, in the Set up group, click Sections. In the Sections form, click Shelves.

Use this form to set up shelves for a store. A shelf represents a physical location where you stock retail products in each store.

Tabs

Tab	Description
General	Specify the location of each shelf.

Buttons

Button	Description
Product list	Open the Product section location form, where you can view information about the location of individual products.
Product group list	Open the Product group section location form, where you can view information about the location of product groups. Note This control is not available if Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 or AX 2012 R3 is installed.

Fields

Field	Description
Store number	The unique identifier of the store.
Section number	The unique identifier of the section of the store.
Shelf number	The unique identifier of the shelf.
Description	A free-form description of the shelf.
Section percent	The percentage of the store section that the shelf represents. For example, if a section contains 10 shelves, each shelf represents 10 percent of the total shelf space in the section.
