Update worker periods (class form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Human resources > Common > Workers > Workers. On the Action Pane, on the Project management tab, in the View group, click Period status, and then click Update worker periods.

Use this form to automatically update a period for all workers who are attached to the period. When you click Update worker periods, a default period of one year is suggested. The starting date of the suggested period is the current date, and the periods that are created always start at the beginning of the period type.

You must update the period definitions before the beginning of every fiscal year. After you create the period definitions, the next step is to update the information for each worker with periods for the new fiscal year.
