Utilization hours (form)

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. On the Action Pane, on the Control tab, in the Monitor group, click Hour utilization.

Use this form to calculate the hour utilization rate for projects.
Note
If a worker has been loaned to a related legal entity for project work, the project hours that they enter for its projects are reflected in this utilization rate calculation. Workers can be loaned to other legal entities only if intercompany timesheet support has been enabled for your legal entity.
The hour utilization rate is displayed as a percentage that shows how the hours that are allocated to projects are being used.
The efficiency rate is shown as a percentage. The percentage indicates how efficiently the company uses hours on projects.

Worker period |
Select the period for which you are calculating the hour utilization rate. |

Enter a starting date for the hour utilization calculation. |

Enter an ending date for the hour utilization calculation. |
Actual vs. budget |
Select whether to calculate actual hours or budgeted hours. |
Forecast model |
If you selected Budget in the Actual vs. budget field, select the forecast model that was used when the budget was created. |
Consumed hours |
View the actual consumed hours that are included in the calculation. |
Not included hours |
View the actual number of hours that were not included in the calculation. |
Included hours |
View the actual number of hours that were included in the calculation by using the percentage as the denominator in the calculation. |
Burden hours |
View the actual number of burden hours that were included in the calculation. |
Utilization hours |
View the actual number of utilization hours that were included in the calculation. |
Utilization rate percentage |
View the utilization rate percentage based on the hour calculation. |
