Vendor suggestions (form)

Click Procurement and sourcing > Common > Purchase requisitions > Purchase requisitions prepared by me. From the Purchase requisitions prepared by me list page, double-click a selected purchase requisition in the list to open an existing purchase requisition, or click the Purchase requisition button to create a new purchase requisition. From the Purchase requisitions form, on the Purchase requisition lines FastTab, click Add items. In the Add items form, on the Non-catalog items tab, enter a product name for the item and select a procurement category, then click Suggest vendors.

Use this form to suggest a vendor for products that are ordered by procurement category. You can select a vendor from a list of company vendors or propose a new vendor with whom you want to do business.

Company vendors

Select a vendor from a list of vendors that have already been added to Microsoft Dynamics AX and are authorized to supply items and services for your company.

New proposed vendors

Enter the name and contact information for a vendor who is not currently a vendor for your company.





The name of the existing vendor that you want to use to fulfill the purchase requisition line.

Vendor name

The name of the vendor that you are requesting to fulfill the purchase requisition line. This vendor is not currently a vendor for your company.

Contact information

The contact information for the proposed vendor. This contact information will be used by the purchasing agent to contact the vendor.


Enter a business justification for selecting this vendor or additional details about this vendor.
