Reconcile a travel requisition

If you submit a travel requisition for a business expense and the requisition is approved, after you have incurred the expense you must reconcile your approved travel requisition before submitting your expense report. You can reconcile your travel requisition when you enter information in your expense report.

Depending on your role or the privileges that are assigned to you, you might need to go to your Employee services site before you complete the procedures in this topic.

  1. Click Expenses on the top link bar, and then click Expense reports on the Quick Launch.

  2. Select the expense report that you want to reconcile with the travel requisition.

  3. On the Action Pane, in the New group, click Expense report to create a new expense report, or in the Expense report number column, select the expense report that you want to modify.

  4. On the expense report header, click Show more fields.

  5. In the Travel requisition field, select the travel requisition that you want to map your expense report to.

  6. On the Expense lines FastTab, click Add new expense, and then enter the expense information.

  7. If the expense was pre-authorized in a travel requisition, select the Pre-authorized check box.

  8. In the Authorized amount field, select the expense that you want to reconcile. For example, if you are reconciling an expense for plane travel, select Flight.

  9. Click Save and close.
