Transfer quotation lines to forecast (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Project management and accounting > Common > Projects > All projects. Select or open a project. On the Action Pane, on the Plan tab, in the Forecast group, click on the forecast type that you want to copy project lines to. On the menu bar of the forecast form, click Transfer quotation lines.

Use this form to copy lines from related project quotations into the project forecast.

Navigating the form

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Fields

Field	Description
Quotation	View the identifier of the project quotation for which you want to transfer lines.
Project ID	View the identifier of the project that is associated with the quotation lines to be transferred.
Transaction type	Specify the project transaction type that you want to use when transferring the quotation lines to the project.
Worker	View the identifier of the worker who is associated with the quotation lines to be transferred.
Item number	View the identifier of the item that is associated with the quotation lines to be transferred.
Project category	Select the category that you want to use for the project.
Line property	Select the line property to which you want to attach the transaction status.
Quantity	Enter the quantity, in sales units, that the customer has ordered.
Net amount	View the sales amount of the line. This amount reflects any discounts that have been applied.
Forecast model	Select the forecast model to which you want to transfer quotation lines.
