Build, innovate, and HackTogether! It's time to get started building solutions with AI in the Power Platform!

HackTogether is your playground for experimenting with the new Copilot and AI features in the Power Platform. With mentorship from Microsoft experts and access to the latest tech, you will learn how to build solutions in Power Platform by leveraging AI. The possibilities are endless for what you can create... plus you can submit your hack for a chance to win exciting prizes! đŸĨŗ

Pre-requisites

Before hacking you'll need to setup a Power Platform Development environment that you can build your solutions in. Copilot features are currently only available in US regions so you'll need to create a Power Platform environment in the US region.

  • Ready, Set Hack - Do more with AI in the Power Platform

    Get ready to unleash the power of AI within the Power Platform! Join us for the kickoff of the Power Platform AI Global Hack event. Hear from the Power Platform Advocacy Team, along with VP of Power Apps, Ryan Cunningham, as they share insights, hack event details, and the exciting future of AI and Copilots in the Power Platform.

  • Intro to Power Platform Copilots

    Get an overview of all of the Power Platform Copilots in this live session. Special guest Priya Vaidyanathan will join us to show the latest innovations with Power Pages Copilot.

  • Get started with AI Builder in Power Platform

    Dive into the AI-powered possibilities of AI Builder with us! Power Platform Advocate, Gomolemo Mohapi will be joined by Ashish Bhatia, Program Manager at Microsoft to showcase how to add intelligence to your Power Platform solutions with AI Builder. You'll get an overview of what you can do with AI Builder and see demos of some of the functionality in action so you can get ideas for how to integrate these AI models into your solutions.

  • Leveraging Azure OpenAI Service in the Power Platform

    Join Power Platform Advocate, Daniel Laskewitz and Microsoft MVP, Robin Rosengrun as they dive into the world of Azure OpenAI. This can be used in addition to the out of the box capabilities of Copilot and AI Builder to add more generative AI power to your Power Platform solutions. Robin and Daniel will break down how it works and how you can extend your solutions with it.

  • How to submit your projects on GitHub

    We will walk you through all of the basics that you need to know to get started with GitHub and the Power Platform tooling needed so you can leverage it to submit your contributions.

Judging and Prizes

Projects will be evaluated by a panel of judges, including Microsoft executives, product managers, and developer advocates. Judging criteria will include innovation, impact, technical usability, and alignment with corresponding hackathon category.

Is there a cost to participate in this event?

No, there is no cost to participate.

Are there any limitations to building Power Platform solutions with Copilot?

Currently, Copilot is available in public preview for US (English) environments. You will have to have a Power Platform environment in the US region and interact with it in English to use it for the hackathon.

The event will take place virtually September 14th - 28th.

When will winners be announced?

We will take a few weeks after the hackathon for judging and winners will be announced in late October.
