This article describes how to configure your game's properties in Partner Center. Properties include basic information like genre, contact and support information, the technical capabilities that your game supports and the Xbox services your game supports.
Prerequisites
- Enrolment in a Managed Creator program. If you're not enrolled yet, see Onboarding as a new CreatorAuthorization required
- Active Partner Center account. If you don't have an account yet, speak to your Microsoft contacts.
- Approved Game Concept for your product. If you don't have concept approval yet, see Game ConceptsAuthorization required.
Navigate to the Properties page
- Sign in to Partner Center.
- In the Home page, select Apps and games.
- In the Apps and games | Overview page, select your game. Or, enter your game's name in the search bar and then select your game.
- Select Properties from the left navigation pane.
Basic info
Go to the Basic Info section, select Edit. For details about all the options available, see Basic InfoAuthorization required.
In Genre, select the keywords that best describe your game. The keywords help customers discover your game.
In Primary genre, select the most appropriate option for your game. The list of options is created based on the keywords selected in the previous step.
In Contact and privacy, enter the following information.
- URL address in the Privacy policy URL field.
- Email or URL address in the Support contact info field.
- URL address in the Website field.
- Company address and phone number in the appropriate fields.
In Player modes, declare the game modes the game offers. For example, select Single player, Multiplayer, or both.
Set the game's features for each selected mode.
In Accessibility, select the checkbox if your game has been tested to meet accessibility guidelines. To learn how to make games more accessible, see Xbox Accessibility Guidelines.
Select Save and return when you're done.
If there are input errors, a notification banner appears at the top of the Properties page. Fix the errors before attempting to save the form again.
Technical Capabilities
When your game supports technical capabilities, use this section to highlight them to the customers. It also helps customers determine if they have the required technical specifications to run your game properly.
Go to the Technical Capabilities section, select Edit. For details about all the options available, see Technical capabilitiesAuthorization required.
In Product page highlights, declare if your game supports any of the technical features listed below. If none of them apply, leave this section empty. Select the information icon if you need more details.

In Functionality, define both the required and recommended technical features and specifications.

- PC advanced specifications
- Other platforms & services
Select Save and return when you're done.
If there are input errors, a notification banner appears at the top of the Properties page. Fix the errors before attempting to save the form again.
Xbox services
- Navigate to the Properties page.
- In the Xbox services section, declare if your game supports any of the Xbox services listed below. If none of them apply, leave this section blank.
- Achievements
- Cloud saves
- Cross-gen multiplayer
- Presence
- Clubs
- Select Save draft.
