Update identityUserFlowAttribute

Update the properties of a custom identityUserFlowAttribute object.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. For delegated scenarios, the administrator needs at least the External ID User Flow Attribute Administrator Microsoft Entra role.

PATCH /identity/userFlowAttributes/{id}

Request headers

Name	Description
Authorization	Bearer {token}. Required. Learn more about authentication and authorization.
Content-Type	application/json. Required.

Request body

In the request body, provide a JSON object with one or more properties that need to be updated for an identityUserFlowAttribute object.

Note: Only the description property can be updated.

Property	Type	Description
description	String	The description of the user flow attribute. It is shown to the user at the time of sign-up.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 204 No Content response code. If unsuccessful, a 4xx error is returned with specific details.
