Update the properties of a tenantTag object.

This API is available in the following national cloud deployments.

Permissions

Choose the permission or permissions marked as least privileged for this API. Use a higher privileged permission or permissions only if your app requires it. Request headers

Name	Description
Authorization	Bearer {token}. Required. Learn more about authentication and authorization.
Content-Type	application/json. Required.

Request body

In the request body, supply the values for relevant tenantTag fields that should be updated. Existing properties that are not included in the request body will maintain their previous values or be recalculated based on changes to other property values. For best performance, don't include existing values that haven't changed.

Following properties can be updated:

displayName	String	The display name for the tenant tag.
description	String	The description for the tenant tag.
tenants	microsoft.graph.managedTenants.tenantInfo collection	The collection of managed tenants associated with the tenant tag.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 200 OK response code and an updated tenantTag object in the response body.
