Important
APIs under the /beta version in Microsoft Graph are subject to change. Use of these APIs in production applications is not supported. To determine whether an API is available in v1.0, use the Version selector.
An abstract base type that represents metadata for a content entry being processed in a processContentRequest, including identifiers, content details, and timestamps. Use the following derived types: processConversationMetadata for conversation content, processFileMetadata for file content, contentActivityMetadata for a DLP enforcement result submitted through the ContentActivity API, and evaluationIncompleteActivityMetadata for an incomplete evaluation submitted through the ContentActivity API. The ContentActivity-specific derived types aren't supported by the processContent or processContentAsync APIs.
The optional sensitivityLabels property contains a collection of caller-supplied sensitivity label metadata. Represent each supplied label as a currentLabel object, including when you supply only one label. The collection is inherited by the derived metadata types. If you omit the property or supply an empty collection, you don't provide caller-supplied label metadata. Providing this metadata doesn't apply or change labels on the content, and an empty collection doesn't remove labels.
Properties
| Property | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
| content | contentBase | Represents the actual content, either as text (textContent) or binary data (binaryContent). Optional if metadata alone is sufficient for policy evaluation. Do not use for contentActivities. |
| contentCategory | microsoft.graph.contentCategory | The type of content. The possible values are: none, ai, unknownFutureValue. The default value is ai, which refers to AI generated content. |
| correlationId | String | An identifier used to group multiple related content entries (for example, different parts of the same file upload, messages in a conversation). |
| createdDateTime | DateTimeOffset | Required. Timestamp indicating when the original content was created (for example, file creation time, message sent time). |
| identifier | String | Required. A unique identifier for this specific content entry within the context of the calling application or enforcement plane (for example, message ID, file path/URL). |
| isTruncated | Boolean | Required. Indicates if the provided content has been truncated from its original form (for example, due to size limits). |
| length | Int64 | The length of the original content in bytes. |
| modifiedDateTime | DateTimeOffset | Required. Timestamp indicating when the original content was last modified. For ephemeral content like messages, this might be the same as createdDateTime. |
| name | String | Required. A descriptive name for the content (for example, file name, web page title, "Chat Message"). |
| sensitivityLabels | currentLabel collection | Caller-supplied sensitivity labels describing the content. |
| sequenceNumber | Int64 | A sequence number indicating the order in which content was generated or should be processed, required when correlationId is used. |
