Example 3: Get the app installation resource based on the manifest ID of the associated app
Request
The following example shows a request. In the example, the manifest ID of the Teams app is 'cf1ba4c7-f94e-4d80-ba90-5594b641a8ee'.
GET https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/teams/acda442c-78d2-491b-8204-4ef5019c0193/installedApps?$expand=teamsApp,teamsAppDefinition&$filter=teamsApp/externalId eq 'cf1ba4c7-f94e-4d80-ba90-5594b641a8ee'
// Code snippets are only available for the latest version. Current version is 5.x
// To initialize your graphClient, see https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/graph/sdks/create-client?from=snippets&tabs=csharp
var result = await graphClient.Teams["{team-id}"].InstalledApps.GetAsync((requestConfiguration) =>
{
requestConfiguration.QueryParameters.Expand = new string []{ "teamsApp","teamsAppDefinition" };
requestConfiguration.QueryParameters.Filter = "teamsApp/externalId eq 'cf1ba4c7-f94e-4d80-ba90-5594b641a8ee'";
});
// THE CLI IS IN PREVIEW. NON-PRODUCTION USE ONLY
mgc teams installed-apps list --team-id {team-id} --filter "teamsApp/externalId eq 'cf1ba4c7-f94e-4d80-ba90-5594b641a8ee'" --expand "teamsApp,teamsAppDefinition"
<?php
// THIS SNIPPET IS A PREVIEW VERSION OF THE SDK. NON-PRODUCTION USE ONLY
$graphServiceClient = new GraphServiceClient($tokenRequestContext, $scopes);
$requestConfiguration = new InstalledAppsRequestBuilderGetRequestConfiguration();
$queryParameters = InstalledAppsRequestBuilderGetRequestConfiguration::createQueryParameters();
$queryParameters->expand = ["teamsApp","teamsAppDefinition"];
$queryParameters->filter = "teamsApp/externalId eq 'cf1ba4c7-f94e-4d80-ba90-5594b641a8ee'";
$requestConfiguration->queryParameters = $queryParameters;
$result = $graphServiceClient->teams()->byTeamId('team-id')->installedApps()->get($requestConfiguration)->wait();
This example applies to sideloaded or organizational apps. The externalId value is empty for apps with a distributionMethod type of store. When apps are published to the global store, the id of the app matches the id in the app manifest.
