Delete a users's temporaryAccessPassAuthenticationMethod object.

Permissions

One of the following permissions is required to call this API. To learn more, including how to choose permissions, see Permissions.

Permissions acting on self

Application	Not supported.

Permissions acting on other users

For delegated scenarios where an admin is acting on another user, the administrator needs at least the Authentication Administrator or Privileged Authentication Administrator Microsoft Entra role.

HTTP request

Delete your own temporary access pass authentication method.

DELETE /me/authentication/temporaryAccessPassMethods/{id}

Delete your own or another user's temporary access pass authentication method.

DELETE /users/{id | userPrincipalName}/authentication/temporaryAccessPassMethods/{id}

Don't supply a request body for this method.

Response

If successful, this method returns a 204 No Content response code. It doesn't return anything in the response body.
