Use cases
Ambient recording
Mobile: Using a mobile device for recording is convenient and allows providers to bring the microphone to the patient.
DAXKit SDK allows you to use your own UI elements in your mobile app. It is currently only available for iOS. For more information, see: DAXKit SDK for Mobile.
Dragon Copilot Embedded for Mobile allows you to embed the complete Dragon Copilot UI in your mobile app and provide all the capabilities in the table above. For more information, see: Dragon Copilot Embedded for Mobile - overview.
The batch upload audio service (preview) allows you to manage recording in your app and send completed recordings to Microsoft for the transcription and note. For more information, see: Audio service (preview).
Desktop: Users will want to take advantage of larger screen sizes for their workflow. If you have appropriate microphone hardware, you can record from desktop workstations or laptops.

Transcript and note
Desktop and mobile: Dragon Data Exchange uses webhooks to deliver AI output to your integration. A JSON payload containing the transcript and note is retrieved and you can display the content where appropriate based on the UI of your solution. For more information, see: Dragon Data Exchange.

Desktop and mobile: All of these capabilities are only available in Dragon Copilot Embedded for Desktop and Dragon Copilot Embedded for Mobile.
Example 1 - Mobile recording only with full workflow on desktop:
Your mobile app uses your own UI and has DAXKit integrated for ambient recording.
Your desktop app displays the transcript or note in native fields in your solution after retrieving the JSON payload from Dragon Data Exchange.
Users can launch Dragon Copilot Embedded for Desktop from UI elements in your app. Users can enhance their note with all the capabilities of Dragon Copilot and edits will sync back to native fields in your solution.
Example 2 - Full workflow on mobile and desktop:
