Nonprofit offerings and products

Microsoft for Nonprofits provides a range of product grants and discounts to empower nonprofit organizations of all sizes. These offers help organizations operate more efficiently, collaborate securely, and take advantage of technologies like cloud computing and AI.

Eligible organizations can access grants or reduced pricing for the following core products. However, eligibility and availability of specific offers might vary by country or region. To view current offers and learn how to activate available benefits, go to the Nonprofit Hub.

Azure $2,000 annual grant

Eligible nonprofits receive $2,000 USD in Azure credits annually to support cloud services such as hosting websites, running virtual machines, managing databases, and deploying AI-powered solutions. This grant enables organizations to scale infrastructure without upfront costs.

Dynamics 365

Discounted licenses are available for Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise, Customer Service, and nonprofit-specific solutions. These tools help nonprofits manage relationships with donors, volunteers, and beneficiaries, while streamlining operations like grant tracking and case management.

Power Platform

Microsoft Power Platform empowers nonprofits to build secure, low-code apps, automate workflows, and analyze data. Eligible organizations receive grants and discounts for Power Apps and Power Automate to improve efficiency and decision-making across teams.

Microsoft 365 and Copilot

Microsoft 365 provides productivity and collaboration tools like Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams, now enhanced with Copilot — an AI assistant that helps streamline tasks, summarize content, and boost creativity. Copilot is available at discounted nonprofit pricing and requires a Microsoft 365 license.

LinkedIn, GitHub, and hardware donations

  • LinkedIn for Nonprofits: Discounted tools for nonprofit hiring, donor engagement, and outreach.
  • GitHub for Nonprofits: Access to GitHub Enterprise and collaboration tools at reduced cost for nonprofit developers and tech teams.
  • Hardware donations: Microsoft occasionally offers donated or discounted Surface devices and accessories to eligible organizations through partners.

What is the “Nonprofit Portal (Nonprofit Staff Pricing) Trial”?

The Nonprofit Portal (Nonprofit Staff Pricing) Trial is an administrative subscription that supports nonprofit onboarding and access to the nonprofit portal.

It does not provide active Microsoft 365 services, licenses, or workloads, and it cannot be used for day‑to‑day organizational work.

To use Microsoft services such as email, Office apps, or collaboration tools, eligible nonprofits must activate a separate nonprofit offer or discounted subscription (for example, Microsoft 365 Business Basic or Business Standard for nonprofits).

Seeing this trial in your tenant does not indicate that services are active or available.
