Business value
A first-party Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) connector would enable Microsoft Power App developers to build low-code or no-code applications that can interact with FHIR data. This will remove a barrier to development and accelerate the development of targeted solutions against FHIR data.
Feature details
The healthcare industry is rapidly transforming health data to the emerging standards of FHIR. FHIR enables a robust, extensible data model with standardized semantics and data exchange that powers all systems using FHIR to work together. It also enables the rapid exchange of data in applications. Microsoft currently has two Power Platform connectors in preview that will be released by a fully supported connector. The Microsoft FHIR connector would enable Power App developers to build low-code or no-code applications that can easily interact with FHIR data and enable data exchange.
