Outside reports, you can view emissions by selecting All emissions in the left navigation pane. This information can be useful when you want to troubleshoot calculations, create a custom view, or export information about emissions. Emissions that you view in this way are shown in the unit that is required by the calculation, not in the reporting unit. This behavior is the key difference between the Emissions page and other reporting pages.

Filter emissions

Each column in the emissions view can be filtered.

  1. Select the down arrow next to the header for the column that you want to apply a filter for.
  2. Create your filter by using logic such as contains or equals.
  3. Enter conditions for the entities to search for. For example, you can search for all emissions that are related to a specific facility, organizational entity, or fuel type.

Export raw data for calculated emissions

  1. Filter the emissions as desired, as described in the previous section of this topic.
  2. On the Action Pane, select the ellipsis (...).
  3. Select Export to Excel.

Manually add emissions

  1. In the left navigation pane, select All emissions.
  2. On the Action Pane, select the plus sign (+).
  3. Enter information in all required fields.
  4. Save your changes, and close the page.

Emissions can have multiple greenhouse gases. Microsoft Sustainability Manager calculates all standard reported greenhouse gases per emission source.
