In external reporting in Sustainability Manager, standards refer to templates of various regulatory environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards, frameworks, or directives.
This tutorial shows you how to:
Prerequisite
- Power Apps environment with external reporting in Sustainability Manager installed. For more information about deploying, go to Deploy external reporting in Sustainability Manager.
Review builtin standards
In this task, you review Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) standards that are included in external reporting in Sustainability Manager.
On the left navigation, select All standards.
On the Active Standards page, review the list of standards provided by external reporting in Sustainability Manager. These standards include:

Select Requirements to review individual requirements related to the chosen standard. Requirements refer to each distinct disclosure that composes a standard.
Create a custom standard
In this task, you create a custom standard called Annual ESG reporting.
On the Active Standards page, select New.
Name your standard Annual ESG reporting.
You can now add standards with the UI or with a CSV file. For this tutorial, you need to add the standards in this table.

Add standards with the UI
In this task, you add the standards in the previous table manually in the UI. If you prefer to import them with a CSV file instead, skip to the next task.
On the Requirements tab, select the Add requirement button, and then complete the fields for each requirement listed in the table in the Create a custom standard task.
Add standards with a CSV file
In this task, you add the standards in the previous table by importing them with a CSV file. If you prefer to add them manually instead, follow the instructions in the previous task.
Copy the fields from the table in the Create a custom standard task into a CSV file.
Select the chevron beside Import from Excel, and then select Import from CSV.
Select your CSV file, and then select Next.
Select Review mapping. The mapping should look like:
Select Finish import, and then select Done.
