LinkedIn Marketing API Program Access Tiers
Warning
Deprecation Notice
The Marketing Version 202310 (Marketing October 2023) and earlier versions (excluding 202306 and 202307) have been sunset. Additionally, the unversioned APIs will be sunset soon. We recommend that you migrate to the versioned APIs as well as migrate to the new Content and Community Management APIs to avoid disruptions. See the Migration page for more details.
If you haven’t yet migrated and have questions, submit a request on the LinkedIn Developer Support Portal.
LinkedIn has two tiers of access to our Marketing Developer Platform: Development and Standard.
The tier assigned to your app defines how many Ad Accounts you can manage through the APIs. You can upgrade to the next access tier by meeting the requirements described for that next level. Please note that all API Calls at all access levels are made on production data. Also, use of LinkedIn's Campaign Management APIs is subject to our LinkedIn LinkedIn Marketing API Program Terms.
Access to the Marketing Developer Platform is reserved for applications building supported use cases. See the Marketing Developer Platform Overview for more information on supported use cases.
Tier | Description |
---|---|
Development | Build end-to-end workflows. |
Standard | Support campaign management for multiple accounts. |

Development Access

Before accessing the Standard Access tier, you must first build and test your application on LinkedIn’s advertising platform.
Open to qualified developers, so you can build end-to-end workflows before obtaining full permissions. This tier enables you to POST for up to 5 Ad Accounts and GET for an unlimited number of accounts. To set up the ad account list, see Managing Your Ad Accounts List in Getting Started.
Standard Access
Standard Tier is designed for heavy ad demands with no limit on number of ad accounts.
LinkedIn reserves the right to review applications and select partners at its discretion and a partner might not be upgraded even if they meet these minimum requirements.
