Module 2 - Customer Application Provisioning and Job Board Setup

Upon completing development, to ensure official certification of Module 2, please review each of the test cases mentioned below. To ensure an efficient meeting, please review all appropriate documentation and send technical questions to your Business Development and/or Partner Engineering representative beforehand.

Note

  • The Certification Demo can be scheduled with your LinkedIn Business Development point of contact in any order of the above modules as and when development & testing is complete.
  • In the demo, all the module-specific test cases should be covered. If few test cases are not applicable for your integration, call them out and notify proactively if possible to your business development point of contact.
  • LinkedIn will certify based on the complete coverage of test cases in the certification demos.
  • Upon successful certification, LinkedIn will provision your Production API Key

JP-005 Demonstrate ability to
  1. Create a customer application (for both LinkedIn Recruiter customer and non-customer usecase)
  2. Confirm when do we create customer child application?
  3. Confirm that there is always only one customer application created per customer account
JP-006 Demonstrate ability to detect an application has already been provisioned for a customer
JP-007 Demonstrate Global Customer Settings for
  1. Customer Opt In to post jobs on LinkedIn Job Board or confirm if a customer is auto opted in by default?
  2. Explain Customer Opt in/Opt out for Basic/Free Job Postings on LinkedIn
  3. Explain Customer Opt in/Opt out for Premium Posting on LinkedIn
JP-008 Handling CompanyIDs:
  1. Can a customer confirgure more than 1 LinkedIn companyIDs? If yes, demonstrate how customers can. define this in LinkedIn Job Board settings.
  2. Demonstrate the ability for customer to edit LinkedIn company page id / company name.
  3. Show a help icon that redirects to LinkedIn's Help Article [https://www.linkedin.com/help/linkedin/answer/a415420] to assist customers on steps to find their LinkedIn CompanyID
JP-009 Handling ContractIDs:
  1. Can a customer confirgure more than 1 LinkedIn contractIDs? If yes, demonstrate how customers can define this in LinkedIn Job Board settings?
  2. Demonstrate the ability for customer to edit LinkedIn ContractID.

JP-010A Optional- For RSC customers only
Explain what happens when an RSC customer opts in for Basic Jobs, how do we handle historical RSC jobs synced that are Live and public?
  1. Are RSC jobs always synced as private?
  2. After opt in to Basic Jobs, when the customer pushed a job to LI Job Board, we should update the RSC job from private to public by using jobPostingOperationType as UPDATE and visibility as PUBLIC

Explain what happens when a Basic Jobs customer opt in for RSC, how do we handle historical jobs sync?
  1. If customer's jobs were pushed to LinkedIn Job Board before, partner should sync this job during RSC Customer OnBoarding historical sync with jobPostingOperationType UPDATE. This is to ensure that unique ID and Job URL at LinkedIn does not change. For other jobs, they can be synced with operationType as CREATE
