Overview

MDEP middleware applications and services are set of software components to support user experience defined for video collaboration devices. MDEP device experience services and applications can be configured to run on systems that consist of Front of the Room (FoR) and touch console devices and as well as on all-in-one devices.

These components can be customized by OEMs for video collaboration applications per their specifications. These applications/services are:

• Kiosk experience
• Setup Wizard (SUW)
• Device settings
• Provisioning Service
• Pairing Service
• Settings Synchronization Service
• Microsoft Text-to-Speech (Text to Speech)

These applications and services are shared between the FoR and touch screen console.
