MPI_Type_delete_attr function

Deletes an attribute value associated with a key on a datatype.

Syntax

int MPIAPI MPI_Type_delete_attr(
   MPI_Datatype datatype,
   int          type_keyval
);

Parameters

  • datatype
    MPI datatype to which attribute is attached.

  • type_keyval
    The key value of the attribute to delete.

Return value

Returns MPI_SUCCESS on success. Otherwise, the return value is an error code.

In Fortran, the return value is stored in the IERROR parameter.
