This article provides guidance for keyword tagging, to improve Copilot's search results, specifically when integrating SharePoint's Organizational Asset Library (OAL) with Copilot's ability to create a presentation in PowerPoint. This guide ensures that Copilot can effectively surface and access your company's OAL image assets.
Prerequisites
- Create an organization assets library.
- Connect your organizational assets library to Copilot.
- Ensure your organizational assets library has the Image Tags column so you can add tags to your images.
- Use Microsoft Syntex to tag images with AI (Optional).
Steps for effective image tagging
Basic guidelines
- Language: ensure all image tags, descriptions, and titles are in American English. If necessary, include a second language but prioritize American English.
- Descriptive content: tags, descriptions, and titles should accurately describe the contents, subject matter, or objects in the image and their relevance to the company.
- Company terminology: include terms that employees would use to search for an image, ensuring they're commonly understood and widely recognized.
Adding keywords
- Department and project specificity: use keywords related to specific departments, projects, or initiatives.
- Synonyms: include synonyms to increase the chance of matching search queries. Literal descriptions: describe the literal objects in the image, such as "laptop" or "office space." Use clear and universally recognized terms to describe the images.
- Representational keywords: incorporate terms that describe what the image could symbolize, like "innovation" or "sustainability."
Adding descriptive phrases
- Adjectives: Use adjectives to describe the setting or style of the image, such as "sunny day" or "black and white photo".
- Contextual relevance: ensure the descriptive phrases provide context about the image's use within the company.
