Apply for the Microsoft 365 Document Collaboration Partner Program

You can enable your users to view and edit Excel, PowerPoint, and Word documents directly in your collaboration application.

Partner companies must join the Microsoft 365 Document Collaboration Partner Program (MDCPP) to embed Microsoft 365 experiences in their application.

MDCPP engagement cycle

The MDCPP engagement cycle includes the following steps.

Application

  1. Start by applying to MDCPP.
  2. MDCPP program managers review your MDCPP application for program eligibility.

Onboarding

  1. If approved for participation in the MDCPP, you must agree with the Program Terms.
  2. Once you've agreed to the Program Terms, you'll be sent a "Welcome" email asking for your test environment configuration.
  3. The MDCPP team will then provision your test environment for access to the MDCPP service.

Development and release

  1. You're now able to develop your solution using the MDCPP test environment.
  2. After you complete your development, you'll need to submit your solution for validation by the MDCPP team. This will ensure your solution works well and meets program requirements, such as Microsoft branding guidelines.
  3. After your solution is validated by the MDCPP team, you'll be asked to provide your production environment configuration.
  4. Your solution's production configuration will be added to the MDCPP production domain allowlist.
  5. Your solution goes live for our joint end users.

Engage with the MDCPP team

If you think the MCDPP can help you provide integrated Microsoft 365 document collaboration experiences to your users, start the MDCPP application process.
