Connect Oracle generative AI agents to Microsoft Agent 365

Use this guide to connect Oracle Cloud Infrastructure generative AI agents to Microsoft Agent 365.

Before you begin

Before you create the connection:

• Create an OCI group for the service user.
• Create an API-only service user.
• Create an API key pair.
• Get the user OCID, tenancy OCID, fingerprint, region, and compartment OCID.
• Grant permission to read the agent resources in the selected compartment.

Create an API-only service user

1. Sign in to the Oracle Cloud Console.
2. Select Identity & Security > Domains.
3. Open the active identity domain and select User Management > Groups.
4. Create a group for the Agent 365 connection.
5. Create a service user and assign it to the group.
6. Don't set a console password for the service user.
7. On the service user's page, select API Keys > Add API Key.
8. Generate an API key pair and download the private key.

Grant permissions

Use a least-privilege policy that grants read access to the agent resources in the selected compartment. Grant delete permissions only when administrators intend to delete agents or endpoints from Agent 365.

Create the connection

1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center.
2. Select Agents > All Agents.
3. In Connected platforms, select Manage.
4. Select + Connect a platform and choose Oracle Generative AI Agents.
5. Enter the private key, user OCID, tenancy OCID, fingerprint, region, and compartment OCID.
6. Validate the credentials.
7. Save the connection.
8. Select Sync agents.

Revoke access

Delete the API key to revoke access immediately. For temporary access removal, remove the service user from the group. To remove the connection permanently, delete the service user after confirming that no other integration uses it.
