Use the steps in this article to turn an event on or off, or to edit what happens when an event runs. For a list of available events and what each one does, see Events overview (Customer Conversation).
Enable or disable an event
Open your agent in Copilot Studio, and select the Build tab.
Select the primary agent's card to open its configuration panel. If you've added any sub-agents, select a sub-agent's card instead to configure that sub-agent.
In the Events section, select the Conversation events card to open the list of events.
Use the toggle next to the event you want to change.
You can't remove events entirely, but you can disable one if you don't want it to run.
Edit an event
Because an event is a topic, you configure it the same way you'd configure any other topic.
Open your agent in Copilot Studio, and select the Build tab.
Select the primary agent's card to open its configuration panel. If you've added any sub-agents, select a sub-agent's card instead to configure that sub-agent.
In the Events section, select the Conversation events card.
Select the event you want to edit.
Edit the topic's nodes as needed, such as updating the greeting message in Conversation Start, adjusting survey logic in End of Conversation, or updating logging configuration in On Error.
Select Save.
Enable voice-specific events
The three voice-specific events (SMS One Time Passcode, Biometric enrollment consent, and Speech collection for biometric enrollment and authentication) only appear after your organization enables Voice Authentication. To confirm this setting, see Configure agent details and security (Customer Conversation).
