A domain email address (@yourcompany.com) reflects legitimacy, improves branding, and sets you apart from competitors. It’s a foundational step for building trust with clients and creating a strong online presence. How to buy a domain using Microsoft 365 Business Premium
- Sign in to Microsoft 365 Admin Center
- In the admin center, go to the Settings > Domains page.
- On the Domains page, select Buy domain.
Choose from top-level domains like .com, .net, or .org. Microsoft offers a free Domain Privacy Subscription with the purchase of a domain that keeps your contact information attached to the registration of your domain with ICANN private. Learn more.

How do I add a domain in Microsoft 365?
- In the Microsoft 365 admin center, choose Setup.
- Select Get your custom domain set up, then Get Started > Add domain.
- Enter the new domain name that you want to add, and then select Next.
- Sign in to your domain registrar, and then select Next.
- Choose the services for your new domain.
- Select Next > Authorize > Next, and then Finish. Your new domain is added.

How do I change my email address to use my custom domain?
Your initial email address in Microsoft 365 includes .onmicrosoft.com. Using Microsoft 365 admin center, you can change it to your custom business domain using the instructions here: Change your Microsoft 365 email address to use your custom domain.
