Acquiring New Numbers from Microsoft Teams

What information and documents do I need to provide for my new number order?
  • Local VAT ID
  • Tri-party agreement: this will be sent to you by the TNS Service Desk team after you place your order to get new phone numbers
What number types are available?
How much time will it take for me to acquire new phone numbers (approximately)?
  • Up to 15 business days if the numbers are available.
  • Up to 90 business days if the numbers must be ordered.
Miscellaneous information
  • Numbers will have the local area code associated with the location.
  • Not all local area codes can be supplied. Numbers are restricted to local area codes for Lisbon and Porto (021/022).
  • Mobile numbers are not available.

You can submit your number acquisition request through the Teams Administration Center.

Porting Existing Numbers to Microsoft Teams

What information and documents do I need to provide for my port order?
How long will it take for me to port my phone numbers (approximately)?
  • 10 to 30 business days
When do phone number ports take place?
  • Ports take place Monday through Friday between 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM Western European Time.
  • Out of hours porting may be possible depending on the losing carrier. Please contact the TNS Service Desk for more information.
Can I change or cancel my port order?
  • Port changes and cancellations must be requested 2 business days before the approved porting date.
Can I port some but not all of my phone numbers?
  • Partial porting is not supported.

What number types can I port?
