Device I/O error (Error 57)
External devices are sometimes subject to unanticipated errors. This error has the following cause and solution:
- An input or output error occurred while your program was using a device such as a printer or disk drive. Make sure the device is operating properly, and then retry the operation.
For additional information, select the item in question and press F1 (in Windows) or HELP (on the Macintosh).
