Microsoft Information Protection and Governance (IP&G) licensed by Microsoft Purview E5 is also available in M365 operated by 21Vianet since July 2025.
- This new product is a highly customized SKU developed in response to customer demand. It currently offers a subset of Microsoft Purview capabilities and differs from the features available in Microsoft Purview on Global Commercial Cloud.
- The functionality is limited to Teams Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and Customer Managed Key (CMK), with no confirmed timeline for additional feature rollouts.
