a.   The standard states that any element from the VML namespace or the Office VML Drawing namespace is a valid child of the pict element.

Word only allows the group, image, line, oval, polyline, rect, roundrect, shape, and shapetype elements from these namespaces to be child elements of the pict element.

b.   The standard states that the control and movie elements are valid child elements of the pict element.

Word does not allow the control and movie elements to be child elements of the pict element.
