a.   The Standard does not specify the expression used to evaluate the comparison.

Word uses the following expression: comparison => expression comparison-operator expression.

b.   The standard states that the left hand expression operand can contain wildcards.

Word supports wildcards in the right hand expression operand only.

c.   The standard does not specify any length restrictions on wildcards expansions.

In Word, if an asterisk is used in Expression-2, the portion of Expression-1 that corresponds to the asterisk plus any remaining characters in Expression-2 shall NOT exceed 128 characters.
