2.1.1481 Part 1 Section 21.2.2.83, hPercent (Height Percent)

a.   The standard does not define the behavior when the hPercent element is omitted.

If this element is omitted, Office uses automatic scaling.  If automatic scaling is enabled, the height of the 3-D chart expressed as a percentage of the chart width shall be the ratio of plot area height to plot area width.

b.   The standard does not specify how to interpret the hPercent element on a pie3Dchart.

In Office, this element on a pie3DChart specifies that the thickness of the 3-D pie chart shall be the default thickness (defined by the SpreadsheetML application) multiplied by the height percent.

c.   The standard states that the hPercent element specifies the height of a 3-D chart as a percentage of the chart width.

In Office, this element specifies the height of a 3-D chart as a percentage of the 3-D plot area width, and disables automatic scaling for the chart height.
