The RDS Transport Protocol server receives text commands from the client (see section 2.2.3.13.8) in the rdsExecuteRequest message and the rdsQueryRequest messages. This command invokes processing on the RDS Transport Protocol server. The command can also result in processing on the data store. The RDS Transport Protocol server MUST implement the Shape Command Language (see section 3.3.5.2.4) and the SQL-92 query language, as specified in [FIPS127].<79>
