This is an original Core Protocol command. This command has been deprecated. Client Implementations SHOULD use SMB_COM_TREE_CONNECT_ANDX.

This command is used to establish a client connection to a server share. The share is identified by name, and the connection, once established, is identified by a TID which is returned to the client.
